These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website houseplans.in operated by Home Plans PDF ("we", "us", "our"). By browsing the site or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Service Description

Home Plans PDF provides digital house plan PDF files — including 2D floor plans, architectural elevations, and associated drawings — designed by licensed Indian architects. These are ready-made, downloadable digital products. We do not provide:

  • Custom architectural design services (unless explicitly offered separately)
  • Structural engineering or soil testing services
  • Construction supervision or project management
  • Municipal approval submission services

Plans are provided "as-is" for reference and construction guidance. Adapting plans for your specific plot, local building codes, or site conditions is your responsibility, typically in consultation with a local architect or civil engineer.

2. Acceptable Use

When you purchase a house plan PDF from Home Plans PDF, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that plan for a single construction project on a single plot. Specifically:

  • Use the plan for one construction project on your own plot.
  • Share the PDF with your contractor, architect, or civil engineer for the same project.
  • Print the plan for construction site use.
  • Request minor annotations or adaptations from your local architect.

🚫 You May Not

  • Resell the plan to any third party.
  • Republish or post the plan on any website, app, or platform.
  • Use the plan for commercial replication (e.g., building multiple units for sale).
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices, architect stamps, or watermarks.
  • Use the plan to create derivative works for distribution.

Breach of these terms immediately terminates your licence. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable Indian law.

3. Intellectual Property

All house plans available on this website are the original intellectual property of the respective architect(s) who designed them. Home Plans PDF acts as a licensed distributor.

  • Ownership: The architect retains full copyright and moral rights over each plan. Your purchase grants you a use licence only — not ownership.
  • Website content: All text, images, logos, and brand elements on houseplans.in are owned by Home Plans PDF and may not be reproduced without written consent.
  • DMCA & Copyright Grievances: If you believe any content on this site infringes your copyright, contact us at [legal@houseplans.in] with evidence of your claim. We will respond within 7 working days.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Indian law:

  • No construction warranty: House plans are architectural reference documents. We do not warrant that any plan is suitable for your specific plot, local building codes, soil conditions, or climatic zone. Always engage a local architect or civil engineer to validate suitability before construction.
  • Liability cap: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of this website or our products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
  • Indirect losses: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including construction cost overruns, regulatory penalties, structural failures, or loss of revenue — arising from reliance on our plans.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
